Observations
Each Montessori classroom, although based on similar principles, has its own dynamics. As a parent & administrator, I encourage potential parents to observe before choosing the classroom for their child. I encourage parents who’s children are attending a Montessori classroom, to observe at least every couple of months to see how the classroom and their child is growing and changing. Classroom observations are open to anyone interested in learning more about the Montessori curriculum and our school. We allow one observer in at a time and encourage them to stay 20-30 minutes. Observations generally take place in the morning between 9:30-11am. Observers check in the office, are escorted to the classroom and given an opportunity to record what they see.
